1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Parental (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Rental Agreement

2.1. Eligibility: By using our services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.

2.2. Reservations: All reservations are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation.

2.3. Rental Period: Minimum rental period is 5 days. The rental period begins on the specified start date and ends on the specified return date.

2.4. Delivery and Pickup: We will provide delivery and pickup services as specified during the reservation process. You must be present during the specified delivery and pickup times.

2.5. Equipment Condition: You agree to return all rented baby gear in the same condition as when received. Any damage or missing items will be subject to additional charges.

3. Payment

3.1. Pricing: Prices are listed on our website and may be subject to change without notice. You will be charged the price in effect at the time of booking.

3.2. Security Deposit: A security deposit NZD50 per gear will be required. This deposit will be refunded within a reasonable timeframe after the return of the equipment in acceptable condition.

3.3. Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit card (online only) and in Cash at Pickup as listed on our website.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Cancellations by the Renter

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance: If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled delivery or pick-up date, you will receive a full refund. If the initial payment was processed online via our website, please note that the payment gateway may charge a transaction fee of 0.5% of the total refunded amount.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: If you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery or pick-up date, you will be charged NZD10 as a cancellation fee, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Cancellation at Delivery: If you cancel your reservation at Delivery time, you will be charged Delivery fee in full.

4.2. Cancellations by Parental

In rare instances, we may need to cancel a reservation due to equipment availability or other operational reasons. In such cases, we will provide a full refund, and we will make reasonable efforts to help you find an alternative solution.

4.3. Changing Your Reservation

If you need to change the dates or items on your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

4.4. Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5 days after the cancellation is confirmed. No refunds will be issued for early returns.

5. Liability

5.1. Use of Equipment: You are responsible for the safe and appropriate use of the rented baby gear. The Company is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur during use.

5.2. Product Recalls: Parental will make reasonable efforts to ensure that rented equipment is not subject to any recalls.

6. Inaccuracy of Product Images

Please note that the images of products displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may vary in appearance, color, or other features. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product images, we cannot guarantee that the depiction on your screen will precisely match the real product. By using our website and renting our products, you acknowledge this potential variation and agree not to hold us liable for any discrepancies between the images and the actual products.

7. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Parental (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy, and this policy outlines our practices regarding the information we collect and how it is used.

7.1.1 Personal Information:

When you create an account or make a reservation, we collect personal information such as your name, contact details (address, phone number, email), and payment information.

7.1.2 Reservation Information:

We collect data related to your reservations, including the rental items you’ve chosen, rental dates, and any special requests.

7.1.3 Communication Data:

When you contact us via email, phone, or through our website, we may collect and store the content of your communication with us.

7.1.4. Technical Information:

We may collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and device information when you use our website.

7.1.5. Cookies:

We use cookies to collect and store certain information. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7.2. How We Use Your Information

7.2.1. Reservations and Services:

To process your reservations, deliver baby gear, and provide customer support.

7.2.2. Communication:

To communicate with you regarding your reservations, inquiries, and to send you important information and updates related to our services.

7.2.3. Improvements:

To enhance and improve our website, services, and customer experience.

7.3. Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously. We implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

7.4. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except for situations required by law or to assist in providing our services.

7.5. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us to have it removed.

The Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. You are responsible for reviewing them regularly.

9. Termination of Service

The Company may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services at its discretion, without notice.
