What will be the condition of the equipment?
At Parental, Safety is our No. 1 priority. We do thoroughly clean and inspect before each rental. All the equipment we rent are either new or are in excellent condition.
How does Pickup and Delivery works?
Delivery charge includes “Delivery of equipment + Pickup at the end of booking” . We do not do delivery at the airport due to uncertain flight times but we can deliver at your accommodation. If you require us to deliver at your accommodation prior to your arrival, please arrange our equipment storage with hotel or motel staff.
We do not have any brick and mortar storefront yet. Though free Pickup is available from our home office at 69A, Sunnynook Road, Forrest Hill, Northshore, Auckland.
How much in advance do we need to book?
We recommend 2-3 days. If there is an urgent requirement email us on sales@parental.nz with the details.
Do you install Car Seat? What is the New Zealand Law for using child restraints?
Due to liability purposes, we do not install car seats, but we can provide an Instructions Booklet on how to install them. It is not a legal requirement, but you can seek the help of Child Restraint Technicians (CRTs) to receive professional advice on installation. Find your nearest CRT : here . Why do I need to pay Security Bond?
Security Bond acts as an insurance against any lost or damage. It is returned in full once the equipment is returned back on decided day. Bond is NZD50/equipment. In case of late returns or damaged equipment, the security bond may be applied towards repair costs or additional rental charges.
Is there any late return Charge?
If the equipment is returned more than one day late from the return date, then we do charge in full for any additional days.
What is the maximum number of days I can book?
Minimum 5 days , Maximum 180 days. We recommend rebooking at 3 months so we can check equipment health and replace if necessary.
